**Program Specialist (Valuable Girl)**

**Purpose of the Job**

The Program Specialist provides technical, logístical, and administrative support to ensure effective implementation of the Valuable Girl Project in alignment with Coptic Orphans' mission. This entry-level role focuses on program coordination, data management, reporting, and event support, ensuring activities run smoothly and align with set plans and timelines.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**

**Program Coordination**
- Follow up on program implementation to ensure alignment with goals and timelines.
- Liaise between program management in Cairo and field teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure smooth operations.

**Data Collection & documentation**
- Collect and compile monthly field reports, standardize data, and develop success stories and case studies for internal and external use.
- Maintain and organize program-related data on Coptic Orphans' drive and ensure proper documentation of hard copies where required.

**Monitoring & Evaluation Support**
- Assist in data collection and validation for monitoring and evaluation purposes, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensuring program performance is measured effectively.
- Support the design and implementation of pre/post-program assessments, surveys, and focus group discussions.

**Administrative & Logistical Support**
- Coordinate, and arrange logistics for program events, including quarterly admin weeks, training conferences, and internal meetings.
- Coordinate travel logistics for field visits, and other program-related travel.
- Set meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
- Schedule program-related orientations for new hires and visit arrangements.

**Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, education, business administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in program support, coordination, and/or office administration within a nonprofit or a development organization.
- Experience in working on development programs and/or volunteering with community development associations.
- Good understanding of program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting methodologies.
- Familiarity with handling logistics of training sessions, workshops, and events.
- Understanding of nonprofit or development organizations and their operational frameworks.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills with ability to effectively engage with internal teams, external partners, and vendors, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented with excellent follow up skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.

**Travel and Working requirements**
- Typical Office environment: walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment, and occasional lifting of boxes or luggage during travel.
- Travel throughout Egypt may reach as much as 30% of the time.
- Working outside official hours and on weekends may be required.
