Exchange Program Specialist(Egypt)

**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**
The Program Specialist will support the Scholarship and Exchange Department in the administration of various grants and service for a fee program. S/he will provide scholarship assistance as well as conduct day-to-day activities within the department, most importantly certification service, and provide up-to-date information about the Egyptian educational system to institutional members and university representatives. S/he will also assist the management in overseeing the implementation of all grant programs and handling program details while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Specialist may also support several different projects across departments based on business need.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with public and private academic institutions and organizations to distribute information about exchange programs
- Assist the Exchange Manager and Program Lead in the implementation of all grant programs and handling program details while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate in the development of new exchange program concept papers and proposals that serve AMIDEAST’s mission, vision, and values for Egypt
- Contribute in the department strategic planning, goal setting and annual budget preparation as required
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely technical, statistical, and financial reports to partners, donors, and to AMIDEAST HQ budget for all exchange programs as required
- Coordinate with Amideast HQ, Amideast Alexandria, and other Amideast Field offices as needed
- Handle logistics for pre-departure orientations on selected programs
- Communicate and update the Exchange programs alumni database
- Organize alumni events with Exchange department staff and other required parties
- Provide logístical support on the Study USA College Fair
- Respond to inquiries from prospective exchanges programs participants
- Contribute in identifying, screening, and orienting participants about the various exchange programs.
- Arrange interviews of semifinalists and finalize interviews logistics
- Maintain department processes in an efficient and effective manner
- Collaborate positively with other Amideast departments (education and Training, Testing, Customer Service)
- Maintain active networks with local and international organizations and institutions involved in exchange programs and keep abreast of changes and developments in Egyptian public and private education to identify opportunities for Amideast
- Provide administrative and logístical support for exchange programs including making housing arrangements and other administrative tasks when needed
- Register clients in the various in office information sessions
- E-market for the Exchanges services among the exchange programs alumni
**Qualifications and Skills**

**_Required_**
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum three years of experience in a relevant field
- Excellent written and oral English and Arabic communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Computer literacy in MS Office
- Excellent written and oral English and Arabic communication skills
- Ability to organize and maintain large amount of detailed information
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and accept responsibility
**_Preferred_**
- Undergraduate degree from a U.S. or Canadian university
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Previous experience/Knowledge in American Education System
- Post Graduate studies
- TOEIC score of 750 or equivalent
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (either on a full time, temporary, or hybrid basis)

- Telephone
