Lead financial administration, planning, and budgeting.
- Oversee longer-term budget planning and cost management.
- Monitor progress of budgets and present operational metrics.
- Ensure financial staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with appropriate principles and monitor the use of funds.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting, directing financial accounting.
- Coordinate audit activities.
- Manage multiple client engagements.
- Leadership and problem identification.
- Responsible for managing the financial actions of a company.
- Tracking cash flow and financial planning
- Analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.
- Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations
- Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
- Responsible for managing the finance and accounting divisions and for ensuring that the company’s financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement
- Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
- Monitor performance with tracking, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting for earnings calls, the management team, and the rest of the company

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Knowledge of accounting software required (e.g., Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Passionate about SaaS and B2B software
- Experience with fundraising (Series C or later)
- Managed M&A transactions
- Certified Public Accountant.
- Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
- Working knowledge of raising capital beyond traditional lines of credit
- Strong background in developing annual strategic and financial plans
- Comfort working independently across cross-functional internal teams and external relationships, and the ability to project manage large scale projects
- Ability to get things done and being comfortable with ambiguity
- Able to distil complex information from multiple sources in order to derive concise, impactful data insights
- Industry experience in Real Estate preferred
- CPA certification preferred
- Thorough understanding of the laws and regulations governing financial institutions.
