Stamford Hotels and Resorts is looking for a highly dynamic, street-smart and savvy hotelier to join us as an Assistant to Chief Operating Officer for our hotels located in Australia. We welcome experienced and seasoned applicants to apply.

**The successful applicant will be responsible for the following**:

- To transform and translate the planned visions set by the CEO into positive economic outcomes which covers marketing, operation, administration, and finance.
- To achieve favourable economic performance against budget and the previous year, predicting short-term economic vacillation to avoid surprises at quarter ends.
- To analyse and solve problems arising, prioritise, and delegate some projects. Hands-on involvement if the project requires direct intervention.
- To act as the link between the business unit leader and the company CEO or Executive Chairman, directly or indirectly directing or coordinating commercial, administrative, and financial operational activities. The central role is “make it happen”.
- Supervising the business units through the General Manager on the daily operation of the hotel.
- Translating the CEO’s annual brief into strategies and work plans jointly with the business unit leader.
- Achieve annual revenue budget and GOP.
- Analyse unit KPIs, market share, and market intelligence analysis to steer and tweak operation activities to achieve expected results.
- Periodic physical review of the business unit facilities/equipment are well maintained or require capital investment.
- Efficient utilisation of commercial and labour resources to generate greater efficiencies and output.
- Develop in conjunction with business, savings plan, staffing plan, staff retention and other staff relation program.
- Guide and control business unit implementation of revenue generation plan.
- Supervise Food and Beverage product offerings, and maintain standard, quality and profitability.
- Supervise significant projects and renovations.
- Supervise and monitor reputation management via Revenate, Trip Advisor and other social media.
- Warrant employee satisfaction and compliance with all workplace OHNS and NES standards.
- Ensure legislative and environmental, compliance.
- Execute Ad-Hoc instructions from the CEO or Executive Chairman of the board.

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you must run the hotel as if it is your own because you adopt a hands-on management style and are detail-oriented. You are relentless in seeking revenue opportunities and maximizing yield for the hotel, both in Rooms and F&B.

Effectively connecting with business clients and partners, guests, management team and staff members at all levels is an innate ability you possess. You constantly strive to create memorable experiences for your guests, support a positive work environment, challenge the status quo and inspire your staff to do the same.
