Team leadership and responsible for the design and implementation of corporate security network capabilities that support reliable and secure hosted and collaborative services across the whole Vodafone Network in Europe.

Responsible for the engineering of the High and Low Level Design, network implementation, testing and quality assurance activities in the Local Markets corporate network. Responsible for developing and expanding the team’s technical skills and experience. Responsible to guarantee consistency and harmonisation across the region and being accountable for the effective design and evolution of security network nodes in Europe, promoting and delivering all possible best practise processes & cost savings initiatives.

- Responsible to deliver High / Low Level Design engineering and network design optimization of corporate networks in Europe.
- Drive increased quality of our network end to end
- Provide HLDs, LLDs, define templates, modularize and industrialize configuration items and their implementation.
- Responsible to deliver optimal implementation process that ensures quality.
- Decrease the design and implementation costs and to achieve a harmonized & simplified network infrastructure

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]**:

- Strategic insight into corporate network challenges, requirements and development issues and their impact on customer experience.
- Strong people management and motivation skills.
- Ability to help define and target a vision for Vodafone security evolution.
- In-depth knowledge in the following areas:

- Networks (TCP/IP, Protocols, Structures, Hardware, Security)
- Knowledge in the area of the installation and configuration of network components (Routers, Switches, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, Proxies and others
- Knowledge in routing protocols, VOIP technology, WLAN technology, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory
- Knowledge in network management and network analysis
- Knowledge in security (policies, encryption, Authentication, Authorization, Accounting, 802.1x, PKI, certificates)
