**Role purpose**:

- To assist in designing and implementing Network & security solutions, taking into consideration all available technologies and business requirements, troubleshoot Network & security environment problems, and provide technical support

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Assist and provide on system design and planning.
- Analysing network security threats and developing security solutions to mitigate risk.
- Installing and configuring firewalls, and other security technologies.
- Developing security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Maintaining an inventory of software patches for all networked systems and updating them regularly to address vulnerability issues
- Managing security operations by monitoring security events and identifying potential security risks.
- Understand audit process, compliant requirement, and coordinate in audit exercise.
- Supporting all service needs in Markets through INC/PBI/CRQ
- Engaged in Weekly Service review Meetings for each Market
- Perform Sanity checks for any new deployments in Production Environment.
- Support handover and knowledge transfer for newcomers.
- Strong Analytical thinking, Conversational English and Business Writing Skills

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Ability to assess network activity and system configuration for anomalous activity to determine system security status
- 3 to 7 years of experience
- Has keen knowledge and understanding of current cyber threats.
- Good working knowledge of: TCP/IP, common network traffic, network protocols, LAN, WAN, and Wireless technologies Security best practices, IT Security framework, IT security incident response and IT Security assessment.
- ITIL Foundation and service management background

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Firewall technology experience with a clear understanding of Networking, VPN & security technologies
- Ethernet, Wireless, and TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting
- Expertise in penetration testing, networking, system administration, and operating systems
- FortiGate, F5 and ASA firewalls configurations and troubleshooting
