**Description**:
The Strategy and Planning Lead provides expert knowledge to support with planning, developing, communicating and implementing Vodafone's strategy for the entire Vodafone Group and manages the delivery of strategic initiatives working closely with internal partners. The Strategy and Planning Lead focusses on delivering strategic and planning objectives, in line with Vodafone's strategy. Typically reports to the Senior Strategy and Planning Manager.

**Job Responsibility**:

- Support in development of the annual strategic planning process, coordinating between Vodafone Egypt different departments as well as Vodafone Group stakeholders.
- Reporting on progress of key strategic projects & programs
- Drive specific work streams and take end-to-end responsibility for some cross functional topics.
- Works closely with PMO & Governance sub-function by sharing knowledge & benchmark studies & best practice for implementation of strategic programs
- Keep up to date on developments in Telco and adjacent industries topics and actively contribute to pipeline of innovative growth ideas
- Contribute perspectives to the broader team on how Vodafone can enhance its strategic position in the market vs. competitors and translate high level corporate strategy into executable actions.

**Required Criteria**:

- Structured approach to gathering and representing data with a strong statistical analysis background
- In depth knowledge of key, internal Business processes of mobile telecommunications operations & industry global trends
- Strong commercial, operational / Project management acumen / knowledge as well
- Excellent analytical & presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder & relationship management
- Ability to work in multitasks under pressure
- Ability to create board level presentations
- Ability to deal with high levels of agility and ambiguity
- Ability to maintain focus and drive over prolonged development periods
