Role Summary:
IT Strategy & Compliance Lead, is responsible for setting IT direction, policies, and governance across the organization, ensuring alignment with business needs, sponsor requirements, and regulatory standards. This role does not involve day-to-day team management, but rather focuses on enabling strong infrastructure and IT practices in partnership with technical leads.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain an IT strategy aligned with business and regulatory needs.
- Define and enforce IT policies and standards (security, access control, backups, etc.).
- Lead major IT-related projects (e.g., cloud migration, system upgrades, security audits).
- Coordinate vendor selection, RFPs, contract renewals, and service reviews.
- Ensure IT documentation, risk management, and reporting standards are met.
- Act as liaison with sponsor audits or compliance requests.
- Provide advisory support to the Infrastructure Lead for project implementation.
- Track IT KPIs and submit strategic reports to leadership.

Qualifications:

- 7+ years in IT governance, strategy, or project management roles.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance.
- Experience working in regulated environments (pharma/CRO is a plus).
