**Description**:
Planning & Design for VF-EG transport network and introduce new technologies, products and features to ensure smooth digital evolution to ensure best network quality and best customer experience.
- Plan & technically manage projects for New Technologies, New Products & features introduction into VFEG Transport domain starting from the technical investigations till acceptance and handover process to VFEG internal teams
- Preparing scripts & Managing heavy IP configurations/migrations over Backhaul Routers while ensuring best customer experience & resilience
- Transport configuration KPIs Audit & optimization
- Network Programmability using SDN / automated python scripts
- Manage & Track Capex Budget for Transport Backhaul Domain
- POs Issuance & delivery tracking
- Interface with suppliers in different network projects and negotiations
- Manage & align all project activities across different stakeholders inside & outside Vodafone
- Responsible for Projects performance monitoring through governance meetings
- Provide cost saving initiatives by identifying the relevant network topology that best utilizes the resources of the network and minimizes the CAPEX and OPEX spending.
- Ensure that all processes and SLAs are properly set to serve our internal and external customers with speed and simplicity
- Responsible for building & maintaining Project plans for assigned projects along with reporting both progress & challenges to Mid & Senior Level Management
- Monitor transmission stock and hardware release from TX warehouse

**Key performance indicators**:

- Assigned projects are delivered on time with agreed network KPIs
- POs are issued & received on time matching the budget amounts & timing
- TX network is optimized and matching the group quality standards compliant with network KPIs for best customer experience.
- Keeping alignment with Vodafone Network Standards and Guidelines
- VFEG transport network is following the digital transportation roadmap
- Material stock is matching our plans with no shortage in materials serving technical plans

**Role Requirements**:
**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Mobile Business Management
- Solid Knowledge of Modern IP Networks Architecture, Optimization and Audits
- Good Project Management Skills & Experience
- Broad experience of different transport vendors, platforms and products across all domains (Access, Backhaul and Backbone)
- Full understanding of customer demands/needs and flexibility to exceed customers’ expectations.
- Work in harmony with Agile practices
- Good knowledge of SDN/NFV Evolution and Network programmability tools
- Creative thinking to provide out of the box solutions
- Good Stakeholder management capabilities
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Self-motivated and high time management ability.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to learn and self-study

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- B.SC. in Electrical Engineering majoring in Communication and Electronic Engineering.
- Solid knowledge of IP Networks with minimum of CCNP or equivalent certification (CCIE level is a plus)
- Solid knowledge in Project Management & Stakeholder Management (PMP is a plus)
- Good knowledge of DevOps and Network programmability tools with track record of python implementation experiences
- Problem solving and decision making ability
- Full Stack Development knowledge is a plus
- DB administration knowledge is a plus
