The team you’ll be part of

As part of IP regional delivery team, your role will be to ensure service delivery as agreed with the customer in the design documents. Task delivery can be remotely from Egypt, travel missions, or mixed between remote and onsite based on the nature of the job. Area covered includes Middle East, Africa, Europe and in some cases, it could go beyond covering customers in Asia. Our customers are telecom companies, mainly mobile operators, and ISPs, plus non-telecom companies like transport, governmental, security, oil&gas + others.

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
- Starting from early presales phase, you will supporting and getting engaged in data gathering, auditing, prove of concept in the different trials and demos with the customers.
- Supports and integrates key IP-enabled projects using IP/MPLS such as 4G/5G. Mobile Backhaul, BNG, SecGW, IXP and others.
- Conduct documentation and actual equipment IP configuration walk-through with the customer and present key concepts/messages to customers as a team lead; including Method Of Procedures, User Acceptance Test and Operational document, etc.
- Ensuring quality in delivery using different Nokia techniques such as network touch process and right first time. Task standardization and Automation

What you will learn and contribute to

You have:

- Bachelor in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge and strong background in IP/MPLS solutions for, 4G/5G networks, BNG, SecGW, SDN, Cloud, SRL, IOT, automation and others
- Knowledge of Nokia IP products, 7750, 7705, 7210, 7250, 7450, plus IP certifications would be an asset

It would be nice if you also have:

- Clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving skills and working experiences on test equipment's
- Self-motivated and self-development/learning
- Able to work independently and also in a team; where needed, double-up as Tech Lead/TPM
- Possess strong customer management relation skills and able to develop and maintain the strong relationships within the organization and with Customers
