5G Software Engineer Undergraduate Intern

From applied research to advanced engineering, Dell’s 5G R&D team is designing and developing ground-breaking products & solutions. You will be involved in assessing the market, developing technology and products and generating intellectual property. Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation in support of building something from the ground up, all while working with colleagues across the globe to ensure Dell products always lead the way.

What you’ll achieve:
As a **5G Software Engineer Undergraduate Intern**, you will work with a cross functional global team to design, build and deliver production ready software with Dell standards. As part of the 5G team, you will work in collaboration with multiple teams around the world.

You Will:

- Participate in design, development and integration activities for Transport Network components in 5G RAN
- Understanding software requirements
- Interface with other components that interact with Transport components
- Participate in all software verification/integration for Transport area
- Contribute to the definition of software regression test environments and test cases

Essential Requirements:

- 4th & 5th University Students, majoring in Computer Science or similar discipline
- Well-rounded in one or more of the following programming languages: Java or C++
- Good object-oriented principles knowledge
- Familiar with Git

Desirable Requirements:

- Networking knowledge
- Linux knowledge
- Understanding of Virtualization and Containerization
- Contributions to large open source projects
