**About the role**:
**L2 System and Middleware Operation Eng** is a key role:

- The main owner for Incident and change management on daily basis
- Identify requirements, procedures, and problems to determine the need for further automation or improve the existing Environment.
- Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
- Implementing the best practices standards of the project.
- To keep a check on the whole system, conduct the testing and integration testing for the entire system.
- should be proactive while reacting to the surprises and should have written an explanation for the same.
- Work with internal personnel (PMs, SDMs & CSMs) on projects involving multiple disciplines.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues. Understand highly technical problems and be able to suggest solutions.
- Work closely with Insight teammates to ensure timely delivery of the product.
- Maintain a knowledge set of new technologies.
- Proactively remediate problems and suggest corrective action plans when needed to solve complex problems.
- Ensure a positive customer experience.
- Work on value-adding activities such Knowledge base update training newcomers,
- Key Member/Owner for the Incident, change crisis, problem & release management chains.

**About you**:

- Expertise and/or certification in server operating systems (Windows Server 2008R2, Windows server 2012, windows server 2016, and windows server 2019)
- Expertise and/or certification in Linux systems (SUSE Linux, redhat, HPUX, centos)
- Experience with SUSE manager is a plus
- Experience in middleware (Tomcat, Apache, IIS, Jboss, Wildfly) is a plus
- Hands-on Experience in the knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10)
- Docker | Terraform | Kubernetes | CICD | Jenkins | Github | Automation experience
- Kubernetes experience in deployment, development and operation.
- Expertise of Schedulers (Control-M) is a plus
- Expertise of citrix is a plus
- Working knowledge of network topologies and implementations (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Working knowledge of Windows-based print queues, file shares, and user/group (Active Directory) administration/troubleshooting.
- managing Active directory (GPO, trusts, replication, authentication, LDAP, Kerberos, sites)
- background in scripting languages (Linux bash, Java, Visual Basic & PowerShell)
- Working knowledge of back-end infrastructure technologies and principles (virtual infrastructure, storage, disaster recovery, and security)
- General knowledge of security devices (firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, firewall rules, boundaries).
- Must display high-level troubleshooting competencies. A proven track record of managing a successful business is a plus.
- Must have exceptional communication skills including written, oral, and presentation.
- Customer service or support background is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills are a Must.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with the client are a must.
- provide support for on-call escalations and doing incident & problem management.
- Fluent in English, French is recommended as a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
