We are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for technology and a knack for guiding diverse engineering teams toward success We're seeking a dynamic Director of Engineering to oversee our Mobile, Backend, and Web engineering teams. As the driving force behind our technical endeavors, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our products and services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of innovation, scalability, and reliability. **Role Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams of Mobile, Backend, and Web engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the technical roadmap forward, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from ideation and planning through to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Champion best practices in software engineering, architecture, coding standards, and quality assurance, while promoting a culture of technical excellence and adherence to industry standards.
- Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and staffing decisions for the engineering teams, ensuring optimal utilization of talent and resources.
- Foster a culture of learning and development, providing opportunities for skill enhancement, career growth, and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, leveraging insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Act as a key liaison between engineering and other departments, facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and promoting a unified vision for product development.
- Monitor key performance indicators, metrics, and project milestones, providing regular updates and insights to senior management, stakeholders, and relevant parties.

**Must-haves**:

- Extensive Experience in managing cross-functional remote and in-house engineering teams.
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin or Typescript.
- Proven Track record of leading software development projects with high scale. (e-commerce experience is preferred)
- Experience leading a team developing highly available microservices products.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
- Experience with Git and its best practices
