National Sales Manager – Gastrointestinal (GIT) Line

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Company Type: Pharmaceutical

We are seeking a high performing National Sales Manager to lead and expand our Gastrointestinal (GIT) portfolio across Egypt. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, proven pharmaceutical sales experience, and a successful track record in GIT or related therapeutic areas.

You will be responsible for driving national sales performance, leading regional teams and achieving market share targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy for the GIT line in alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead and coach District Managers and Medical Representatives to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and regional performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain to ensure execution excellence.
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies, ethical standards and promotional guidelines.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, incentive plans and budget allocations.
  • Monitor and enhance salesforce effectiveness through performance reviews, field coaching and capability building.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with 1-2 years in a national or senior managerial role.
  • Proven success managing a Gastrointestinal or related therapeutic portfolio.
  • Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently across Egypt.
