Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Mid WordPress Developer located on-site in Al Manşūrah. The Mid WordPress Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites using WordPress, ensuring high performance, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. The role involves collaborating with design and technical teams, implementing responsive website designs, and solving website-related technical challenges. The candidate may assist in creating new features and functionalities, and ensure quality and standards in all development work.

Key Responsibilities:


• Establishing and guiding the website's architecture

  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS

  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working website.

  • Ability to optimize websites according to Google Speed Insights and GTmetrix.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience working with WordPress.

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3

  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications

  • Experience designing responsive design websites

  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Chrome inspector, etc.

  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) is a plus

  • Familiar with Page Builders: Bricks, Elementor, WP Bakery

-Performance plugins: WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache

  • Translation Plugins: WPML
