Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior PHP - WordPress Developer. The position is based in
Pyramids Gardens - giza (office location)
, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Developer will be responsible for managing WordPress themes and plugins, writing custom PHP code, troubleshooting and debugging, collaborating with design and marketing teams, optimizing site performance, and ensuring site security. The role also includes maintaining staging and production environments and overseeing junior developers.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PHP and WordPress development
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of MySQL databases
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON
  • Knowledge of version control practices using Git
  • Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior developers is a plus
