Job Description: Mid-Level Graphic Designer (Social Media Focus)

Location: El Sheikh Zayed

Working hours & days: 10 am : 6 pm - Sunday : Thursday

Position: Mid-Level Graphic Designer

The Role:

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Mid-Level Graphic Designer with a proven track record in social media. You are more than just a designer; you are a visual storyteller who understands how to capture attention in a fast-paced digital landscape. You will be responsible for creating thumb-stopping, platform-optimized graphics that build brand identity, foster community engagement, and achieve measurable marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Execution: Create a high volume of compelling, on-brand graphics for a variety of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest. This includes static posts, stories, reels/short-video assets, carousels, and ads.

Brand Development: Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to develop and maintain cohesive visual identities for our clients, ensuring all social media content aligns with their brand guidelines.

Strategic Thinking: Translate marketing objectives and campaign briefs into effective visual concepts that drive engagement, clicks, and conversions.

Content Creation: Develop templates and design systems to ensure efficient and consistent content production. Create engaging motion graphics (e.g., animated text, simple GIFs, Lottie animations) to enhance social content.

Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of the curve on social media design trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep our clients' content fresh and relevant.

Collaboration: Work closely with social media managers, copywriters, and other designers to brainstorm ideas, present concepts, and deliver pixel-perfect final assets on time.

Asset Management: Prepare and optimize all graphics for web and mobile, ensuring fast load times and correct formatting across all devices.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

Experience: 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, with a significant portion focused on social media content creation, preferably in an agency setting.

Portfolio: A strong online portfolio that demonstrates expertise in social media design. Your portfolio should showcase a variety of styles, a keen eye for typography, color, and layout, and examples of how your designs contributed to campaign success.

Technical Proficiency:

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or Premiere Pro for basic motion graphics and video editing.

Experience with Figma or Sketch is a plus.

Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of the technical specs, best practices, and visual trends for each major social platform.

Core Skills: Excellent visual design, layout, and typography skills. Ability to work efficiently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate your design concepts and rationale.
