We're Hiring: Head of Technical – Studio Être

Location: Maadi, Cairo, Egypt

Type: Full-Time, On-site

We're looking for a Head of Technical to lead the realization of our design vision — ensuring that every concept is translated into buildable, coordinated, and beautifully executed architecture and interiors.

This role bridges creative design and technical delivery, guiding a talented team of architects and draftspersons while maintaining the integrity, clarity, and functionality that define Studio Être's work.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the technical department and oversee all project documentation.
  • Establish and maintain Studio Être's drawing standards and QA/QC protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Design to ensure design intent is upheld.
  • Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural, lighting, landscape) for seamless integration.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals.
  • Conduct quality reviews and ensure compliance with codes and best practices.
  • Mentor the technical team, ensuring precision, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Support site execution and ensure alignment between design and construction.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience
    in architecture or interior design technical delivery.
  • Proven leadership in managing technical teams and complex project documentation.
  • Expertise in detailing, coordination, and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD, Revit, and related technical tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
