Sadany & Partners Law Firm is seeking to appoint a Head of Corporate Department to lead and expand our corporate practice. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned and dynamic corporate lawyer with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience, proven leadership skills, and extensive expertise in managing complex corporate and commercial matters in Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Corporate Department, ensuring the provision of top-quality legal services.
  • Advise clients on complex corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate structuring, capital increases, shareholder agreements, regulatory compliance, and governance.
  • Oversee company incorporation, restructuring, and licensing matters within Egypt.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor associates and junior lawyers to enhance team performance and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the department in alignment with the firm's objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in business development activities and contribute to attracting new clients.
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments relevant to corporate practice in Egypt.
  • Represent the firm in seminars, conferences, and other professional events as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university; postgraduate legal qualifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience
    in corporate and commercial law within Egypt.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams or managing a corporate legal practice.
  • Strong track record in handling complex corporate transactions and advising on Egyptian corporate law.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in
    both English and Arabic
    .
  • Strategic mindset with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
