Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as the Head of the Design Department, located in Cairo, Egypt. The role encompasses leading and managing the entire design team, overseeing and coordinating projects across various design disciplines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and client-focused design solutions. Responsibilities include developing design strategies, managing timelines, collaborating with other departments, and maintaining alignment with the company's goals and client expectations. The Head of the Design Department will also mentor and guide team members to foster a creative and productive working environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Design Management and the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary design team effectively
  • Proficiency in Visual Design and Architecture Designdemonstrating a keen eye for aesthetics and function
  • Experience in Architecture Consultancy Firms
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and team collaboration skills
  • A degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in design-related leadership roles
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software tools and familiarity with emerging design technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
