Factoring Operations

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Factoring Operations & Credit Control Manager located in Giza. The Factoring Operations & Credit Control Manager will be responsible for managing credit control, overseeing credit management, analyzing financial data, and handling debt collection. Additional responsibilities include monitoring financial accounts, ensuring timely collection of dues, and managing the overall credit function to maintain financial stability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end operational and credit control functions, drive strategic initiatives to optimize cashflow, monitor & minimize credit risk to improve operational efficiency across factoring accounts & facilities.
• Manage factoring operations lifecycle including client onboarding, process of approved facility structure (manual/system), validation and aligning with treasury team to ensure credit lines are available till full disbursement.
• Oversee & execute system enhancement and data migration into the factoring system, ensuring accurate calculations, generation of regulatory FRA reports and proper optimization of credit control tools.
• Lead creditworthiness assessment & risk mitigation including monitoring of early warnings signals of non-repayment. Report accordingly to the relevant stake holder teams to take appropriate action whilst ensuring strong governance is met across all related functions.
• Act as a focal point for the factoring clients' receiving their inquiries, complaints, and requests & achieve high level of client satisfaction.
• Establish rapport with clients and debtors to ensure timely repayment of facilities & compliance with facility terms and approved conditions.
• Conduct technical meetings where facility documents (agreements, collaterals, undertakings) are duly signed, explain factoring technicalities and day-to-day handling process. Coaching clients about the technicalities of factoring as a complex financial product.
• Monitor customers' performance & utilization under factoring facilities, to maintain control over facilities in terms of validity of documents & proper usage of funds, repayment pattern, etc.
• Responsible for contributing to achieve the company's overall factoring annual budget & targets by monitoring & ensuring proper & full utilization of factoring facilities.
• Update the management with client information, account performance and relevant data for different types of facilities. Present proposals for facility enhancement (as applicable) to factoring executive director.
• Monitoring & fine-tuning of subordinates' performance to ensure meeting the company's annual budget & business scope.
• Own collaboration between different organizational functions by coordinating with different departments internally (Credit, Risk, Operations, Collections, Finance, Treasury, etc.) and externally (Client's buyers, Client's suppliers, Banks, etc.)
• Maximize Cross selling for all financial solutions provided by the company to attract the maximum wallet share of the customers to ensure achievement of maximum profitability across the portfolio.

Education, Experience & Personal Skills:

• B.A. Degree in finance, business, marketing or related field.

• years of experience in a similar position, preferably with factoring or banking sector with

managerial experience.

• Proven experience with at least 5 years in managing factoring products/portfolios.

• Strong relationship management skills and ability to interact with complex customers.

• Ability to undertake & manage complex projects and operate in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to function with minimal guidance & be proactive in handling tasks.

• An enthusiastic individual with problem solving, leadership and strong interpersonal &

communication skills.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint & other computing skills.

• Experience in sales, marketing or related fields is a plus.

• Excellent command of Arabic & English Language.
