Our goal is to bridge the gap in debt financing, empower SMEs, and promote financial inclusion.

Core Responsibilities and Duties: (Includes but not limited to)

  • Advise on any qualitative and quantitative risks of any potential client.

  • Identify and assess threats, put plans in place for if things go wrong and decide how to avoid, reduce or transfer risks.

  • Responsible for managing the risks and to weight them and to present it to the risk committee.

  • To establish and monitor policies and procedures that will help Qardy meet its risk management goals.

  • Monitoring and evaluating active accounts to reduce or prevent non-performing loans (NPLs).

  • Keep policies and procedures current, and communicate them to senior management and to other affected parties.

  • Monitor the costs to operate the collection functions.

  • Develop him/herself to be up to-date with new risk management to accelerate the decision-making process, and/or improve the quality and consistency of credit decisions.

  • Review the annual reviews packages if there are any pending credits to be cleared by the related committees.

  • Up to date with the all the SMEs lending laws & regulations.

  • Assess if provisions are sufficient.

  • Review that no concentrations at the portfolio, and if so such concentrations to be approved and within stipulated limits.

  • Report all significant risks.

  • Periodic credit risk reports to be presented to top management.

  • Conduct stress and scenario testing and analysis of portfolio at global levels.

  • Ensure all transactions have full and proper documentation.

  • Ensure credit protection as collaterals and conditions are fully understood and utilized.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Market Risk and Enterprise Risk Management
  • Expertise in Regulatory Compliance and Finance
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
