Head of Finance

1- Job Purpose

To manage overall financial health, strategic financial planning, and fiscal integrity, where he will

lead all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, financial planning and capital management, and investor relations. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in financial services, specifically mortgage finance, coupled with an intimate understanding of the Egyptian regulatory landscape (CBE, FRA) and local market dynamics to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

2- Duties & Responsibilities

-Strategic Financial Leadership & Planning: Develop and implement long-term financial

strategies, including capital allocation, funding diversification, and investment strategies that align with the company's vision and risk appetite & Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning

processes, ensuring robust financial models and projections tailored to the Egyptian mortgage market.

-Financial Operations & Control: Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, ensuring accuracy,efficiency, and compliance with Egyptian accounting standards (EG GAAP/IFRS where applicable). establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets, ensure data integrity, and prevent fraud & manage the timely and accurate preparation of all financial statements, regulatory reports, and internal management reports.-

-Treasury & Capital Management: Develop and execute comprehensive treasury strategies, including cash flow management, liquidity management, and investment of surplus funds. Manage debt facilities, relationships with funding partners (e.g., local Egyptian banks, international financial institutions), and optimize the cost of funds for mortgage originations. Lead capital raising initiatives (e.g., equity, debt, bond issuances) to support business growth and expansion plans in Egypt & Implement robust asset-liability management (ALM) strategies to mitigate interest rate risk and liquidity risk inherent in mortgage finance.

-Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Drive financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis by product and segment, and cost-benefit analysis for new initiatives. Provide insightful performance dashboards and metrics to inform executive decision-making & Conduct scenario planning and stress testing to assess financial resilience under various market conditions (e.g., interest rate hikes, inflation, economic downturns in Egypt).

• Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure strict adherence to all financial reporting requirements and regulations imposed by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE),Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), and other relevant Egyptian governmental bodies & oversee the timely and accurate submission of all required regulatory reports.

-Tax Planning & Compliance: Oversee corporate tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring full compliance with Egyptian tax laws & manage all tax filings and interactions with the Egyptian Tax Authority.

2. Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a

related field, with minimum experience of 7 Years in financial service.

-Deep and current understanding of CBE and FRA regulations, Egyptian accounting standards (EG GAAP/IFRS), and local tax laws relevant to financial institutions.

• Demonstrated experience in fundraising, managing investor relations, and financial modeling

for growth.

-Expertise in risk modeling, quantitative analysis, and statistical methods relevant to

credit and market risk.

-High ethical standards, integrity, and strong governance principles.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English (essential for

engaging with local regulators & internal teams)
