Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting and auditing activities related to the plant's operations, including revenues, expenses, production costs, and inventory movements.
  • Monitor cost allocation and control expenses across all production and administrative departments to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Supervise and review cost accounting processes for manufacturing operations, including materials, labor, and overheads.
  • Follow up on supplier contracts, maintenance agreements, and service leases in coordination with the procurement department to ensure compliance and timely payments.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of internal control procedures across the plant to maintain accuracy, transparency, and minimize financial risks.
  • Monitor and control raw material consumption, production costs, and finished goods valuation, ensuring accuracy in cost reports.
  • Oversee petty cash management, safe balances, and review all receipts, payment vouchers, and cash transactions.
  • Verify all types of revenues (sales, services, spare parts) and ensure their consistency with supporting documents and system records.
  • Collaborate with the central accounting team in analyzing monthly financial results and identifying variances.
  • Participate in periodic and surprise inventory counts, reconciling physical results with book balances and analyzing discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit all required financial and cost reports accurately and on schedule.
  • Identify manpower needs within the accounting department and participate in recruiting qualified accounting staff.
  • Evaluate, train, and develop accounting team members to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Delegate and distribute tasks effectively based on employees' skills and workload, ensuring fairness and operational balance.
  • Perform any other duties assigned within the scope of accounting and financial management responsibilities.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, including previous experience in factories or manufacturing environments.

· Strong knowledge of cost accounting and industrial financial procedures.

· Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
