Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Supply Chain Manager specializing in pharmaceuticals, located in Giza. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, demand planning, inventory management, and logistics. Responsibilities include developing efficient supply chain strategies, maintaining optimal inventory levels, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and ensuring the timely delivery of supplies while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Coordinating with marketing when new product launch to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions. Analysis to evaluate of factors affecting the supply chain.
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify resources needed to establish and provide for production.
  • Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS)
  • Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
  • Implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse Analyzing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place
  • Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process
  • Supervising and training employees
  • Monitor and report on inventory trends and operational KPIs
  • Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
  • Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies. Coordinate with the marketing team to provide information and guidance on the availability of supplies and materials.
  • create database of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or similar field
  • Experience: 4: 8 years of experience in the same position preferred at Cosmeceutical
