Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo for a LEED AP Engineer. The role involves leading and supporting the implementation of sustainable design strategies for various architectural and urban projects. Responsibilities include working on LEED certification processes, conducting energy analysis, preparing environmental assessments, and providing guidance on the use of sustainable materials and innovative construction techniques. The LEED AP Engineer will collaborate closely with designers, architects, and project teams to deliver environmentally responsible solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles, LEED certification requirements, and energy efficiency standards
  • Proficiency in energy modeling, environmental assessments, and thermal comfort analysis
  • Skills in using design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and energy analysis tools
  • Familiarity with sustainable and environmentally friendly materials, traditional and modern building techniques
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) credential is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Experience in the architecture or environmental sustainability field is preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Cairo and demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced environment
