Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, development, and maintenance of BIM models (Architecture, Structure, MEP) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate with RDD team, as Revit modifications and engineering designs will be updated regularly.
  • Coordinate BIM models between Engineering models to ensure model accuracy, consistency and cost saving.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolution sessions using tools such as Revit, and Navisworks
  • Ensure all models comply with company BIM standards and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
  • Review design drawings, shop drawings, and models for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Support value engineering initiatives through model-based analysis and optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance to BIM modelers and be able to edit in Revit Families and templates.
  • Generate coordinated 2D drawings, schedules, sections, and details from BIM models.
  • Prepare clash detection reports, coordination meeting minutes, and model status updates.
  • Track design changes and maintain up-to-date model versions.
  • Support planning teams with 4D simulations and construction sequencing models (optional based on company maturity).
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of company-wide BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
  • Evaluate and implement new BIM technologies and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Work with project managers, design managers, and site teams to support effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure BIM requirements are understood and met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering
  • 5–8+ total years of experience in both site field and BIM within construction or real estate development.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (in all Engineering fields), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and preferably ACC.
  • Experience with 4D/5D BIM (Navisworks).
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards and EDGE/LEED preferable.
  • Experience in mixed-use, residential, hospitality, or commercial real estate projects in Egypt.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good in spoken and written English.
