Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across multiple educational facilities, ensuring all buildings and equipment are in optimal working condition.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance to achieve high standards of service.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
  • Inspect school buildings, grounds, and systems regularly to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, renovations, or installations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies in all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, inventory, and equipment usage.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruption to educational activities.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and staff to prioritize maintenance projects and address facility concerns.
  • Support budget planning for maintenance operations by providing input on resource needs and cost estimates.
Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably within educational or institutional settings.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate maintenance teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
  • Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and compliance standards.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and contractors.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Willingness to work onsite and respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.
