  • 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:

Responsible for the day-to day operations for the Facilities Mechanical & Electrical & Civil works.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

1- Provide support to operation of all Electrical & Mechanical Equipment and Engineering support.

2- Work other shifts to provide direction to the entire Electrical & Mechanical staff (not just day shift) and to provide support on expedited projects with short deadlines.

3- Assist in Technical & Administrative direction to the Electrical & Mechanical Supervisors and Staff.

4- Review jobs to insure quality and compliance with job standards.

5- Oversee improvements, changes or new techniques or procedures.

6- Provide recommendations to the Sr. Eng. regarding Electrical & Mechanical planning, scheduling, safety and training activities.

7- Recommends applicants for employment for discipline, termination or retention.

8- Assure that safety regulations are being enforced in the field

9- Supervise inspection and maintenance of life safety systems.

10- Reads and interprets blueprints and wiring diagrams.

11- Submit to the Sr. Eng. Work Orders, equipment purchases, tools and supplies associated with the Electrical & Mechanical trades.

12- Pursue costs of various jobs and provides costs to the Sr. Engineer as required.

13- Review records of jobs performed departmental charge codes and hours worked by employees.

14- Coordinates effectively with other Supervisors to obtain the desired outcome.

15- Assist in Utility operations & troubleshooting.

16- Coordinate manpower deployment and planning for leaves & shift assignments.

17- Use these sketches to develop projects and acquire approvals from ASSIH or Alameda HODS before proceeding with the work.

18- Incorporate these AutoCAD documents into the as-built as necessary.

19- Initiate proper start-up and shot down activities for planned and unplanned shutdowns/start-ups.

20- Responsible for operation of all Electrical & Mechanical Equipment and Engineering support.

21- Monitors jobs to insure quality and compliance with job standards.

22- Mechanical planning, scheduling, safety and training activities.

23- Recommends improvements, changes or new techniques or procedures.

24- Manages Mechanical planning, scheduling, safety and training activities.

25- Teaches and enforces safety regulations.

26- Directs inspection and maintenance of life safety systems.

27- Coordinates activities with other trades areas and outside contractors.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

-Bachelor degree of Engineering (
Diploma in Industrial Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).

  • Experience:
    Minimum (3-5)
    years of experience
    in hospitals or
    in the same field

-Training: by Chartered Engineer and as needed for all specialty trades to maintain competency and to keep up with technical improvements

-Skills: Computer skills such as Building Management System (BMS or CMMS), Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint), and strong communication skills (English & Arabic).

-Excellent attention to detail, communication skills & problem-solving abilities.
