Job Summary:

Oversees day-to-day fleet maintenance to ensure that work procedures are implemented and meet all safety/quality requirements.

Duties:

·       Implementing Maintenance strategy, and protocols and assuring that all the maintenance team under his supervision are performing according to the protocol.

·       Directing, instructing, and supervising the maintenance team.

·       Supervising and assuring the implementation of planned maintenance activities and procedures.

·       Carrying out the quality inspection on jobs.

·       Controlling the spare parts dispatch and consumption rates.

·       Controlling maintenance tools and equipment.

·       Diagnosing breakdown problems and rout failures.

·       Implementing the reporting cycle stated in the maintenance strategy and protocol.

·       Implementing the data collection cycle and following up on the department KPIs.

·       Responsible for the safety of all the personnel and equipment under his command.

·       Reporting and controlling the labor man-hours and extra time.

·       Presenting and reporting any required enhancement in the maintenance strategy, protocol, and procedures.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, preferred in Fleet Maintenance Management
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Problem assessment and problem solving
  • Leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
