Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description:Job Description:Responsible for hierarchical management of operators or teams of operators (job codes LWB 1, 2 & 3) in a Distribution Center/Warehouse in DC (Distruibution Center)Responsible for employee performance, development, engagement, discipline, etc.Responsible for the performance of "standard work" within his or her sector or department. May occasionally fill in for or assist LWB1 or LWB2 operators as needed. May be responsible for temporarily moving or shifting individual operators from one position or sector to another depending on changes in demand or priorities. May or may not have budget responsibility.Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.As manager, he's the legal responsible in case of accidentOptimize daily / weekly balance workload / resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities)Adjust MPH (Material Providing and Handling) programs according to customer priorities in the ad-hoc systems (LDS, DISS, …)Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods > stocking > picking > Material handling > shipping finished goods and wastesLead the SIM loop 2 with appropriated indicators & action plan and ensure the compliance with SPS of the SIM 1Synchronize support function actors on short term actionsOrganize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target definedManage warehouse processes performance and his team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plantEnsure inventories accuracyGuarantee that service level , quality environment, process lead time, maintenance & productivity goals are reachedManage the yearly appraisal* of all DVC inside the sectorMonitor and analyse logistic costsIs the owner of the SPS Card 3C for the warehouseIn addition to any other tasks, responsibilities and projects assigned by the line manager or site managerQualifications:Qualifications:Bsc.
