Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Tender Team Leader based in Cairo. The Mechanical Tender Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a team in preparing competitive, accurate, and timely mechanical tenders for various projects. Key tasks include reviewing project requirements, analyzing technical specifications, preparing tender documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with project standards. The role requires active collaboration with engineers, procurement teams, and external suppliers to ensure success.

Qualifications

  • Technical expertise in mechanical engineering, tender preparation, and understanding of project specifications
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and team coordination skills
  • Proficiency in technical and commercial document review and preparing high-quality tenders
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in the power and infrastructure sectors and knowledge of local market dynamics are advantageous
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Capability to work effectively in an on-site environment
