Job Summary:

The Private Hospital Manager is a strategic role responsible for managing and developing the business relationship between the pharmaceutical company and key private hospital accounts. This includes leading negotiations for product inclusion in hospital formularies, managing tenders and contracts, and developing long-term partnerships to achieve significant revenue growth and market share within the private hospital sector.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Account Management:

Develop and execute strategic account plans for major private hospital groups (e.g., As-Salam International, Cleopatra Hospitals Group, Saudi German Hospital, etc.).

Map key decision-makers and influencers (e.g., Pharmacy Directors, Hospital Owners, Chief Medical Officers, Procurement Managers, and influential consultants).

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with these key stakeholders.

Business Development & Sales :

Achieve and exceed sales targets and market share goals for the company's portfolio within the assigned private hospital accounts.

Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new accounts.

Analyze market trends and competitor activity within the private hospital sector to adjust strategies accordingly.

Tender & Contract Management

Lead the entire tender process: from receiving the tender documents, to preparing the technical and financial offers, to negotiation and securing the award.

Negotiate and manage contracts, including pricing, payment terms, and volume agreements.

Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations from both the company and the hospital side.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives who call on the doctors within your managed hospitals.

Coordinate with the Medical, Marketing, and Supply Chain departments to ensure aligned support for your accounts.

Conduct joint field visits with your team to ensure strategy execution at the ground level.

Market Intelligence :

Provide feedback to headquarters on market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive threats.

Monitor stock levels in hospital pharmacies and coordinate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    (such as Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Science, or any relevant discipline).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hospital accounts, healthcare operations, or pharmaceutical distribution.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
