Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and recommend suppliers.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with legal and technical requirements.
  • Monitor procurement costs and optimize purchasing to reduce expenses.
  • Ensure materials and services meet engineering standards and project specifications.
  • Oversee delivery schedules, transportation, and storage of materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs.
  • Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of civil engineering materials, equipment, and construction processes.
  • Ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Skilled in evaluating bids, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Capable of handling multiple procurement activities within tight deadlines.
  • Effective in liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
  • 0–5 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
