Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential for sports construction projects. Key daily tasks include evaluating suppliers & landscaping, preparing and issuing purchase orders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, finding cost-effective solutions, and monitoring project timelines and budgets. The Procurement Engineer will need to ensure that all materials and equipment meet quality standards and project specifications.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
  • Strong understanding of creating and managing Purchase Orders
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills to assess costs, quality, and supply chain efficiency
  • Excellent Communication skills for liaising with internal teams and suppliers
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Prior experience in procurement, especially in the sports construction or relevant industries, is a plus
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
