Bulk Sales Desk Manager – Construction & Fertilizer Commodities

About Us

We are a fast-growing international trading group specializing in polymers, industrial raw materials, and bulk commodities.

As part of our expansion, we are establishing a
Bulk Sales Desk
focused on
cement, clinker, gypsum, and fertilizer exports
from Egypt to Africa, GCC, and global markets.

We are looking for a
hands-on, commercially driven Desk Manager
with strong industry relationships, deep market knowledge, and a proven track record in bulk trading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the company's bulk sales operations across construction and fertilizer commodities.
  • Develop and execute export strategies for
    clinker, gypsum, cement, urea, phosphates, and related materials
    .
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with
    Egyptian producers
    and
    African/GCC importers
    .
  • Negotiate supply contracts, freight, and payment terms to maximize
    gross profit and cash flow
    .
  • Manage end-to-end trade execution — pricing, contracts, shipping, documentation, and collections.
  • Monitor global market trends, freight rates, and currency risks to optimize margins.
  • Build a small, high-performance team and establish efficient sales, logistics, and reporting systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum
    8–15 years of experience
    in
    cement, clinker, or fertilizer trading/export
    (Egypt or MENA region).
  • Strong commercial relationships with
    manufacturers, shipping lines, and importers
    .
  • Proven record of handling
    bulk shipments (vessels or containers)
    and achieving high GP per ton.
  • Deep understanding of
    export documentation, LCs, logistics, and inspection procedures
    .
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in
    English and Arabic
    ; French is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, integrity, and ability to operate independently with accountability for P&L.
