With a turnover reaching approximately USD 1 billion in 2018, GIECO operates construction projects nationwide and runs steel workshops in Alexandria, producing over 1,000 tons of steel monthly.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Manager based in Cairo, Egypt. The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, supervision, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring project budgets, schedules, and progress, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and resolving any issues on-site to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and effective communication
  • Strong capabilities in Budgeting and cost management for construction projects
  • Expertise in Construction Safety practices and compliance with safety standards
  • Extensive experience in Construction and Project Control methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects is an advantage
