Job Title: Digital Construction Team Leader

Responsibilities
will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a team of Digital Construction Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of digital construction solutions built on Auto-desk products (AEC Collection and Auto-desk Construction Cloud), tailoring workflows to complex project requirements and company processes.
  • Manage the development and documentation of tailored workflow, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
  • Develop and deliver advanced training programs and workshops to users on the implemented digital construction solutions, including complex workflows and system integrations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving complex issues and promoting the effective adoption of digital construction tools across multiple projects.
  • Work closely with managers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for digital innovation, process improvement, and strategic alignment.
  • Oversee the configuration and customization of Auto-desk solutions to address specific project needs, including the development of templates, workflows, and integrations.
  • Contribute to the development of company-wide digital construction strategies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Monitor team performance, track project progress, and provide regular reports to the Digital Construction Manager, including updates on achievements, challenges, and resource needs.
  • Provide a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and effective project execution.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying areas for development and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working on construction projects, with at least 2-3 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven proficiency in Autodesk products, specifically the AEC Collection (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) and Auto-desk Construction Cloud (especially Auto-desk Build).
  • In-depth understanding of construction workflows across the project lifecycle, including design, planning, cost management, quantity surveying, HSE, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train, support, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including tasks delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering technical training programs and workshops.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices in a construction environment, including experience with common data environments (CDEs).
  • Experience with system integration and data exchange between different software platforms are highly desirable.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to the Digital Construction Manager.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
