Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven
Trade Marketing Supervisor
to lead and enhance our trade marketing initiatives across key markets. This role is critical in bridging our brand strategy with on-ground execution, driving merchant engagement, managing field operations, and ensuring brand visibility is maximized in all retail and merchant environments.
The ideal candidate will bring 4–6 years of trade or field marketing experience within the fintech sector, with a strong ability to lead field teams, manage community platforms, and deliver measurable impact through promotional and visibility campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
WhatsApp Community Management
Supervise and moderate WhatsApp groups for merchants and sales representatives, ensuring consistent communication, timely updates, and high engagement levels.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and strategic dissemination of offers, updates, and marketing materials.
Giveaways & Promotional Cycles
Plan, execute, and oversee promotional campaigns and giveaway cycles.
Ensure accurate stock control, on-time delivery of materials, and effective measurement and reporting of campaign performance.
On-Ground Visibility & Brand Presence
Lead the implementation of brand visibility across all merchant locations in accordance with company guidelines.
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and timely rollout of marketing assets.
Merchant Relationship & Field Supervision
Conduct regular merchant visits and guide trade marketing field representatives (if any) in maintaining strong merchant relationships.
Actively gather market and merchant feedback to optimize brand experience and identify opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Continuously monitor competitor promotions, market trends, and consumer behavior within the fintech space.
Generate insights and provide recommendations to inform marketing strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and deliver structured reports on field activities, campaign results, challenges, and market developments.
- Ensure proper documentation and feedback loops to support performance tracking and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or retail activation.
- Experience in the fintech industry is a must.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate field teams or external vendors.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of merchant ecosystems and retail marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with POS environments and grassroots marketing techniques is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently for on-ground supervision and merchant engagement.
