Job Description

  • Responsible for pick-up and delivery of guest laundry.
  • Collects laundry and dry-cleaning bags from guest rooms and ensures that guest name, room number and laundry pieces are listed.
  • Counts and verifies all items as per the laundry and dry-cleaning lists and records collection and delivery times and special message.
  • Reports immediately any guest valuables / items found in pockets of clothes sent to laundry.
  • Checks all items for damage and stains and takes appropriate action to rectify these issues.
  • Responsible for collecting and delivering outside guest laundry / dry cleaning and assist marker when necessary.
  • Responsible for delivering all guest items punctually and in a professional, courteous way.
  • Assists in the loading and unloading of dryers and sort out washed laundry items.
  • Assists in inventories and attends all trainings as informed and scheduled
  • Monitors the working condition and cleanliness of laundry/dry cleaning machinery and equipment.
  • To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biological diversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings.
  • To provide minimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.).
  • To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment.
  • To provide carrying chemicals safely, carrying, storing and using in accordance with laws, controlling reducing chemical dirtiness.
  • Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities
  • Carries out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

  • Education: At least a high school or vocational diploma.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the related field.
  • Foreign Language: Not expected.
  • Courses and Training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the related field.
  • Computer Literacy: Not expected.
  • Skills: Expected to use complex tools and devices related to the job. Expected to have
  • sufficient knowledge and experience concerning the methods, techniques and work
  • processes in the related field.
