Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Able to lead a technical workshop with a customer (solution overview, requirements gathering, deployment, knowledge transfer).
  • Able to deploy, support, and participate in workload migration for enterprise-level environments.
  • Subject Matter Expert in core implementation. Understands and can contribute to low-level designs of different project complexity levels based on core technologies.
  • Able to present solution designs and decisions to both technical and non-technical forums.
  • Seen as an expert in troubleshooting and supporting core technologies.
  • Able to elicit customer requirements; confirm and document design decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Experience as a vendor, Service Provider or Systems Integrator.
  • Excellent documentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest product features, enhancements, and best practices to enhance the quality of implementations and maintain expertise in the platform.
  • Continue certification and training: Meet and contribute to the continued success of the team and growth areas.
  • Knowledge about VMware Products and Portfolio
  • ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB best practices ( Good to have ).
  • Agile / Scrum methodology ( Good to have ).
  • For Network
  • Deep Knowledge for Network and Security platforms ( VMware NSX , Cisco , Fortinet, PaloAlto ..etc )
  • VCP-NV Certification
  • For MultiCloud
  • VMware Certified Professional or Advanced Professional
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of System Administration, Ansible, Linux, networking, and security.
  • Knowledge of Workload Migration Concepts.
  • Knowledge of Containerization, open shift, Kubernetes
  • Knowledge/experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Knowledge of Storage or backup Solutions

Good To Have Qualifications/ Knowledge:

  • Advanced level of business and technical communication in (Italian / German / Spanish) is a plus
  • Cloud Infrastructure ( VMware Cloud Foundation).
  • VMware Aria Suite.
  • Storage Solutions including VSAN
  • Networking Cisco CCNA / NSX.
  • HCI, Cisco UCS, and HP Hardware platforms.
