Job Description

  • Responsible for the operations of the DC end to -end operation: Staffing & scheduling, Ordering, Inbound receiving, stocking, Pick orders, pack orders, expense control within set operational standards.

  • Coordinating and supervising DC operations (i.e. selecting people, scheduling shifts, routine and preventive maintenance, …)

  • Ensure efficient utilization of pickers with multi-tasking role in order to optimize UTRs.

  • Inbound & Outbound Orders: Ensure proper stock in DCs (No OOS or OVS) by assessing the inventory and issuing orders based on the input and assessment of demand planner plus physical stock assessment.

  • Inventory management: Ensuring effective stock control function and practices. Implementation of inventory process to ensure adequate stock levels and accurate inventory.

  • Inbound receiving: Accurate receiving of orders as per policies & SOP.

  • Outbound: Efficient and accurate picking and packing of Stores' orders, as per SOP.

  • Constantly monitor fulfillment processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and profits.

  • To supervise assigned DC, ensure profitability, provide good service and ensure development of employees.

  • Managing DC personnel ensuring effective use of resources and meeting service level standards.

  • Monitoring, managing and controlling costs against the budget, maximizing cost effectiveness of DCs operations.

  • Ensuring implementation of actions pertinent to DC-related shrinkages.

  • Ensuring that equipment, infrastructure, etc. in DCs are used properly and, at all times, maintained in good condition.

  • Supervising the effective implementation of hygiene, sanitation, security and safety standards, as well as service level standards and ensuring a high-level service in both internal & external side.

  • Discussing with the Country DC Manager DC's issues/problems and propose solutions.

  • Supervise all the maintenance internal activities and / third party suppliers.

  • Ensuring appropriate and safe use of material handling equipment.

  • Managing daily reports (loss & gain, expiry date, dormant stock, in transit report, open inbound & outbound)

Qualifications

  • You have at least 5-7 years of experience in warehousing & DC.

  • You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job.

  • Good communication skills, and always like to be hands-on with several tools.

  • Additionally, you have robust interpersonal and intercultural skills. 

  • Language Skills: Very Good English would be highly advantageous.

  • Computer Skills: Computer Skills: Very Good in Excel, ERP system.
