Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant located in Qesm El Zamalek. The General Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and reconciling bank accounts. The General Accountant is also responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and assisting with year-end close.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in accounting 3-5 years of experience.


• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices


• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases, expert user of spreadsheets.


• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Familiar with Income statements - budgets - financial audits.


• Previous experience Chartered accountant office is preferable.


• The job holder should have good communication, leadership skills, Detail-oriented time management skills


• Proficiency in English is a must

Job description:


• Prepares monthly bank reconciliations.


• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, and income statements.


• Assis in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes.


• Analyze monthly financial information and summarize financial status.


• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.


• Issuance of revenue invoices by reviewing and tying working hours to Timesheets.


• preparation & reconciliation of the withholding tax on a quarterly basis.


• Preparation & reconciliation of monthly Value Added Tax (VAT)
