General Accountant

The Junior General Accountant supports the accounting team in daily financial operations, data entry, reconciliation, and preparing basic financial reports. The role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career accountants looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and post daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
Assist in maintaining the general ledger.
Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
Assist in verifying and matching invoices with supporting documents
Organize and maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
Ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
Prepare documents needed for audits and reviews.
Assist in the preparation of month-end closing entries.
Generate basic financial reports and summaries.
Support data collection and preparation for budgeting or forecasting.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
Assist in preparing documents for tax and statutory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–3years of accounting experience (internships count).
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
Good communication and organizational skills.
