Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Accountant located in Qesm El Nozha. The General Accountant will manage financial records, prepare reports, ensure compliance with regulations, reconcile accounts, and assist in budget planning. The role requires maintaining accuracy in daily accounting transactions, analyzing financial data, and coordinating with other departments to ensure effective financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting transactions and journal entries (General Ledger, AP, AR).
  • Prepare and review financial statements and monthly closing reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of costs and assist in cost analysis and cost control.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure proper documentation of financial activities.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and ensure proper cost allocation.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of experience in accounting.
  • Previous experience in Retail or FMCG is a must.
  • Strong proficiency in Odoo Accounting System.
  • Good knowledge of costing, cost allocation, and inventory accounting.
  • Solid understanding of accounting entries and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
