The role requires a
skilled and detail-oriented Senior L.V. Pre-Sales Engineer
with more than 4 years of experience, preferably in
ABB or Siemens panel building and low-voltage switchgear systems
. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting electrical studies, preparing technical proposals, and providing optimal technical solutions to clients during the tendering phase. Strong knowledge of
low-voltage distribution systems
,
ABB or Siemens switchgear products
, and
electrical design software
is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Low Voltage (LV) electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
  • Review tender specifications, drawings, and technical documents to assess project scope and requirements.
  • Design and propose optimized solutions based on ABB or Siemens panel building standards and products (e.g., System pro E, MNS, Sivacon, etc.).
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals and cost-effective solutions for tenders and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Tendering teams to develop competitive and technically compliant offers.
  • Coordinate with procurement and design teams to ensure alignment on equipment specifications and availability.
  • Support site teams and clients during clarification meetings and technical discussions.
  • Ensure all designs comply with international standards (IEC) and customer-specific requirements.
  • Provide technical input for BOM preparation, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and general arrangement drawings.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of ABB or siemens LV systems, components, and latest industry practices.
  • Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, and necessary documentation for approval processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in LV studies and tender engineering, with a focus on ABB LV panel building.
  • Proficiency in electrical calculation and design software (e.g., ETAP, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of ABB or Siemens LV switchgear systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical SLDs, and tender documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
