The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrity, consistency, and usability of internal and client-facing data across PostgreSQL and Metabase.
  • Design and maintain dashboards for product usage, customer success KPIs, and delivery performance.
  • Use generative AI tools to extract qualitative insights from chat logs, customer feedback, or unstructured data.
  • Translate messy data into clear insights and recommendations for product and operational decisions.
  • Support Customer Success in generating client performance reports and ROI insights.
  • Work with engineers to validate new data points, schemas, and event tracking logic.
  • Automate recurring analyses and reporting processes using Python scripts or SQL automation.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities across customer usage and product performance data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Data or BI Analyst, ideally in SaaS or CX tech.
  • Proven ability to write complex SQL queries and work comfortably with relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Metabase (or equivalent BI tools) and Python for light data processing.
  • Experience applying generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, LangChain) for analysis, summarisation, and reporting.

Skills:

  • Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, JSONB manipulation)
  • Data visualisation and storytelling (Metabase preferred)
  • Data cleaning and automation (Python/Pandas)
  • Generative AI-assisted insight generation
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
