Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Procurement Manager
to lead and manage the sourcing and purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and indirect supplies. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement, supplier reliability, and alignment with production and business requirements across multiple sites. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, and experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop and execute the procurement strategy aligned with business goals and production needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers (local and international).
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and service-level agreements.
  • Build long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and flexible supply.

Operational Procurement Management

  • Oversee daily purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and indirect items.
  • Ensure all purchasing transactions comply with internal policies and financial controls.
  • Monitor delivery performance and manage supplier issue resolution.
  • Optimize inventory levels through coordination with planning and warehouse teams.

Cost Control & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking studies to support cost-saving initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices in sourcing, supplier performance, and purchasing processes.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with production, quality, planning, and finance teams to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Support new product launches by sourcing required materials and coordinating supplier readiness.
  • Align procurement activities with supply chain KPIs and operational priorities.

Systems & Reporting

  • Utilize
    SAP/ERP systems
    for purchase orders, vendor management, and analytics.
  • Prepare procurement reports, including cost trends, supplier performance, and material availability.
  • Ensure accurate and updated procurement data across all systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of procurement experience
    , with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Hands-on experience with
    SAP S/4HANA
    is a must.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
