MB Engineering Group is Hiring "Senior Accountant"

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

Bank and cash Management


Manage daily bank transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.


Handle petty cash, advances, and reimbursements for employees.

Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow statements for management.

Accounts Receivable (Clients)


Issue and record client invoices based on sales or services delivered.


Monitor collections, follow up on overdue payments, and prepare aging reports.

Reconcile client accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.

Accounts Payable (Vendors & Suppliers)


Verify purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes with the purchasing department.


Record supplier invoices and ensure timely payments according to agreed terms.


Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.


Validating supplier quotations and contracts against budgets.

Taxation & Compliance


Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, WHT, payroll tax, corporate income tax, etc.).


Maintain updated tax records and ensure compliance with local tax laws.

Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits or inspections.

Assets Management


Maintain a fixed asset register, ensure accurate capitalization of assets and review invoices.


Track transfer, depreciation, and disposal of assets.

Track Tax and accounting depreciation of Assets.

Financial Reporting


Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.


Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.

Budgeting:

Maintains Budget figures update.

Controls the actual figures of budget.

Custodians handling procedures.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance.

· years of accounting/finance experience in manufacturing company.

·      SAP User.

·       Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.

·       Experience with creating financial statements.

·       Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

·       Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

·       Accuracy and attention to detail.

·       Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

·       Intermediate understanding of accounting and reporting standards, gaining experience in researching.
