Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. As a Tax Professional, you will handle day-to-day tax-related tasks, including preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax documentation, and ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations. You will perform tax analysis, address tax inquiries, track changes in tax legislation, and provide support during audits. This role requires a meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance.
  • Experience in tax filing, tax reporting, and analyzing financial documents to ensure tax adherence.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to tax preparation and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and interpret complex tax laws and resolve tax-related queries.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills to provide clear, concise advice and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA or CMA) are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in tax roles or within the financial services or distribution sector is highly desirable.
